Add a tropical touch to cooler climates with Windmill Palm (Trachycarpus fortunei), one of the most cold-hardy palms available. Native to mountainous regions of Asia, this evergreen palm thrives in temperate and subtropical areas and tolerates winter temperatures down to approximately 10°F (Zone 7B).

Windmill Palm features a slender single trunk wrapped in coarse brown fiber that gradually sheds to reveal a smooth, ringed surface. Its fan-shaped green fronds can grow up to 3 feet across, forming a symmetrical crown 8–10 feet wide. In late winter to early spring, bright yellow flower clusters emerge within the crown. Female plants produce decorative blue fruits in late summer.

Adaptable and resilient, this palm tolerates cold, heat, moderate drought, and even some salt exposure. It performs beautifully as a specimen tree, patio accent, courtyard feature, poolside planting, or container-grown palm. This 60-seed pack is ideal for groves, landscape projects, or starting multiple container specimens.

You will receive:
