Grow a strong, fast-growing native evergreen with Western White Pine (Pinus monticola), a majestic conifer known for its tall pyramidal form and fragrant blue-green needles.

Also called Idaho White Pine, Silver Pine, or Mountain White Pine, this impressive species is the state tree of Idaho. It develops a narrow, open conical crown with horizontal branches and produces long, flexible cones measuring 5–10 inches. Mature trees commonly reach 50–100 feet tall, with exceptional specimens growing much larger in ideal conditions.

Western White Pine is highly adaptable and tolerant of cold, wind, and drought once established. It performs well in moist open areas but also thrives on dry, sandy sites. Popular for windbreaks, privacy screens, timber plantings, Christmas trees, and bonsai, it is a versatile evergreen for both large landscapes and specialty growing.

This 60-seed pack is ideal for property windbreaks, reforestation projects, nursery growers, and evergreen screen plantings.
