Plant a strong and resilient evergreen with Western White Pine (Pinus monticola), a fast-growing native conifer valued for its tall pyramidal form and fragrant blue-green needles.

Also known as Idaho White Pine, Silver Pine, or Mountain White Pine, this impressive species is the state tree of Idaho. It develops a narrow, open conical crown with horizontal branches and produces long, flexible cones measuring 5–10 inches. Mature trees commonly reach 50–100 feet tall, with exceptional specimens growing even larger in ideal mountain conditions.

Western White Pine is highly adaptable and tolerant of cold, drought, and wind once established. It thrives in moist open sites but also performs well in dry, sandy soils. Popular for windbreaks, evergreen privacy screens, timber plantings, Christmas trees, and bonsai cultivation, it is a versatile conifer suitable for both landscape and reforestation use.

This 240-seed pack is ideal for larger windbreak rows, privacy screens, timber projects, conservation plantings, and nursery production.
