🍋 About the Variegated Pink Lemon

The Variegated Pink Eureka Lemon is known for its attractive variegated leaves and fruit with striped green-and-yellow rinds that mature toward yellow. The flesh is typically pale pink to pinkish, especially in favorable growing conditions.

The lemons can add a decorative touch to drinks, desserts, and food presentation. Fruit production depends on plant maturity, sunlight, growing conditions, and care. Flowers and fruit are not guaranteed at the time of purchase.

☀️ Care Instructions

Light: Provide at least 6–8 hours of direct sunlight daily for best growth and potential fruiting. Acclimate the plant gradually when moving it into stronger outdoor sunlight. Indoors, place it beside your brightest sunny window and consider a grow light if natural light is insufficient.

Water: Water thoroughly when the upper layer of potting mix begins to dry. Let excess water drain freely, and never leave the pot sitting in standing water. Consistently soggy soil can cause root problems.

Soil: Use a well-draining potting mix formulated for citrus or container fruit trees. A cactus-style mix may work if it retains enough moisture and nutrients while draining well.

Temperature: Protect the tree from frost and prolonged cold. It generally grows best in warm conditions. During extreme heat, especially above 90°F (32°C), young plants may wilt or become stressed; check soil moisture and provide temporary afternoon shade if needed.

Fertilizer: Feed during active growth with a fertilizer formulated for citrus, following the product label. Citrus trees need nitrogen as well as other macro- and micronutrients. Avoid overfertilizing, especially when the plant is stressed.

Planting: Grow in a container or plant in the ground where local climate conditions are suitable. Cold tolerance varies with plant age, rootstock, and exposure, so protect it from freezing temperatures. Container growing makes it easier to shelter the tree during cold weather.
