This 800-seed bulk pack of Trident Maple (Acer buergerianum) is perfect for nurseries, large bonsai projects, landscaping installations, and ornamental tree plantings.

Native to China, Korea, and Japan, Trident Maple is a small to medium deciduous tree that typically grows 20–30 feet tall with a rounded crown. Its glossy, triangular three-lobed leaves remain vibrant green through the growing season before turning rich shades of dark red and orange in autumn.

In spring (April–May), subtle greenish-yellow flowers appear, followed by winged samaras that mature in fall. Mature trees develop attractive exfoliating bark that adds visual interest year-round. Highly prized for bonsai, Trident Maple responds exceptionally well to pruning, wiring, and shaping.

A versatile and popular tree ideal for specimen plantings, shade, street use, screening, group plantings, and bonsai cultivation.
