This 400-seed bulk pack of Trident Maple (Acer buergerianum) is ideal for bonsai growers, nurseries, landscaping projects, and ornamental tree plantings.
Native to China, Korea, and Japan, Trident Maple is a small to medium deciduous tree that typically grows 20–30 feet tall with a rounded crown. Its glossy, triangular three-lobed leaves remain vibrant green through spring and summer before turning brilliant shades of dark red and orange in autumn.
In spring (April–May), small greenish-yellow flowers bloom, followed by winged samaras that mature in fall. As the tree ages, its bark becomes attractively exfoliating, adding winter interest. Trident Maple is especially prized for bonsai due to its fine branching, compact growth, and excellent response to pruning and shaping.
A versatile and popular tree suitable for specimen planting, shade, street use, group plantings, screens, or bonsai cultivation.
