This 30-seed pack of Trident Maple (Acer buergerianum) is perfect for bonsai enthusiasts, collectors, and gardeners looking for a hardy ornamental tree with stunning fall color.

Native to China, Korea, and Japan, Trident Maple is a small to medium deciduous tree that typically grows 20–30 feet tall with a rounded crown. Its glossy, triangular three-lobed leaves emerge bright green in spring and transition to striking shades of deep red and orange in fall.

In spring (April–May), subtle greenish-yellow flowers appear, followed by winged samaras that mature in fall. Mature trees develop attractive exfoliating bark, adding winter interest. Trident Maple is highly valued in bonsai culture due to its fine branching, small leaves, and excellent response to pruning.

An outstanding choice as a specimen tree, street tree, shade tree, or bonsai project.
