This 100-seed pack of Trident Maple (Acer buergerianum) is perfect for bonsai growers, nurseries, landscaping projects, and gardeners seeking a hardy ornamental tree with outstanding fall color.
Native to China, Korea, and Japan, Trident Maple is a small to medium deciduous tree that typically grows 20–30 feet tall with a rounded crown. Its glossy, triangular three-lobed leaves are bright green during the growing season and transform into rich shades of dark red and orange in autumn.
Small greenish-yellow flowers appear in spring (April–May), followed by winged samaras that mature in fall. As trees age, attractive exfoliating bark develops, adding visual interest in winter. Highly regarded in bonsai culture, Trident Maple responds well to pruning and shaping.
An excellent choice for specimen planting, street trees, shade trees, or bonsai cultivation.
