About Thai Jujube

Jujubes are often called manzana or manzanita, Spanish words meaning apple or little apple, because of their familiar apple-like texture and flavor.

Jujube is an important commercial fruit crop in Thailand, Vietnam, and India, and is also grown on a smaller scale in Malaysia and Australia.

The trees have a bush-like growth habit with graceful, weeping branches. Jujubes are known for their productive nature, and trees can begin bearing fruit at approximately 2–3 years of age under suitable growing conditions.

This is a young tree, so fruit is not guaranteed upon arrival. Fruiting time depends on growing conditions and plant establishment.
