Grow one of North America’s most majestic and iconic conifers with this 30-seed pack of Sugar Pine (Pinus lambertiana), famously known as the “King of Pines.” Renowned for producing the largest pine cones of any California pine—measuring an incredible 12 to 22 inches long—this species brings grandeur and distinction to any landscape.

Native to the Sierra Nevada and Cascade Mountains, Sugar Pine can reach towering heights of 175–200 feet at maturity. In its early years, it grows upright and narrow, later developing long, graceful horizontal branches adorned with massive pendulous cones. Its soft blue-green needles grow in bundles of five and release a fresh evergreen fragrance.

Perfect for specimen planting, shade trees, bonsai projects, or even Christmas tree cultivation, Sugar Pine is a long-lived and impressive addition to larger properties and naturalized landscapes.
