Grow a tough, adaptable, and highly useful shrub with these 400 Siberian Pea Tree seeds. Known for its extreme hardiness and soil-improving qualities, this fast-establishing shrub is ideal for windbreaks, hedges, wildlife habitat, and permaculture systems.

Native to Eastern Russia and Northern China, Siberian Pea Tree grows 15–20 feet tall and 12–15 feet wide with upright, rounded form. It features bright green, feathery compound leaves and produces fragrant yellow pea-like flowers in spring. These blooms are followed by 3-inch edible seed pods that ripen in summer.

The peas inside the pods are high in protein and should be cooked before eating. Young pods can be used as a vegetable, and the yellow flowers are edible and attractive to pollinators. Its extensive root system makes it excellent for erosion control, and as a nitrogen-fixing plant, it naturally enriches the soil.

Perfect for food forests, farm windbreaks, restoration projects, and challenging growing sites.
