• Soil / Medium: Prefers acidic, organic-rich, and well-draining soils. Thrives best in fertile alluvial loams but adapts well as long as there is no standing water.

• Watering: Requires regular, consistent watering to maintain lightly moist soil, especially during the flowering and fruiting stages. Does not tolerate severe drought or waterlogging.

• Growth Habit: A vigorous, fast-climbing vine that requires a sturdy fence, trellis, or arbor system to support its heavy canopy and star-shaped pods.
