Grow one of the most beautiful flowering shrubs in the world with these 50 Royal Azalea (Rhododendron schlippenbachii) seeds. Native to Korea, Manchuria, and Japan, this elegant deciduous shrub is prized for its large fragrant blooms and brilliant autumn foliage.

In spring, clusters of 3–6 large funnel-shaped flowers (up to 3½ inches across) bloom in soft shades of pale pink to rose-pink, sometimes nearly white, with distinctive reddish-brown spotting on the upper lobes. The fragrant blossoms appear in April to May just as the leaves begin to emerge.

The foliage is equally attractive, arranged in distinctive whorls at the branch tips. In autumn, leaves transform into vibrant shades of yellow, orange, and crimson, creating a spectacular seasonal display. Hardy to approximately -25°F, Royal Azalea thrives in cooler climates and woodland-style gardens.

Slow growing and refined, it is an exceptional choice for bonsai, specimen planting, woodland gardens, or mixed shrub borders.

You will receive seeds similar in size and quality to those shown in the listing photos.
