Grow one of the hardiest grape species in the world with this 240-seed pack of Riverbank Grape (Vitis riparia). Native to Eastern North America, this vigorous climbing vine survives temperatures as low as -40°F and is perfect for trellises, arbors, fences, woodland edges, and naturalized landscapes.

Riverbank Grape is a fast-growing perennial vine that can reach up to 50 feet when supported. Its 3–7 inch leaves may be rounded or deeply lobed and turn brilliant shades of gold and red in fall. In late spring to early summer, fragrant greenish-white flowers bloom for 2–3 weeks, followed by clusters of small black grapes. When fully ripened on the vine, the fruit is sweetly tart and excellent for jellies and winemaking.

This species is widely used as rootstock in commercial vineyards due to its resistance to phylloxera. It is also highly attractive to birds and wildlife, making it an excellent choice for habitat plantings and restoration projects. You will receive seeds similar in quality and viability to those shown in the listing photos.

You will receive:
✔️ 240 Riverbank Grape seeds
✔️ Clearly labeled seed packet
✔️ Non-pretreated seeds
✔️ Sowing instructions included
✔️ Secure packaging for safe arrival
