🍋 What You'll Receive

• Plant: Ponderosa Lemon (Citrus limon hybrid)

• Growing method: Grafted

• Pot size: Half-gallon nursery pot

• Quantity: One live plant

• Appearance: You will receive one Ponderosa Lemon plant in a half-gallon pot, similar to the pictures. Natural differences in height, branching, and foliage are normal.

Please note: This listing is for a live plant, not harvested lemons. Flowers and fruit may not be present when your plant arrives. Fruiting depends on plant maturity, growing conditions, and ongoing care.

☀️ Sunlight

Ponderosa Lemon grows best with abundant sunlight. Provide approximately 6–8 or more hours of direct sun daily, gradually acclimating the plant when moving it outdoors. If growing indoors, place it near a very bright, sunny window or supplement with a suitable grow light.

💧 Watering

Water thoroughly when the top 1–2 inches of soil begin to dry. Allow excess water to drain and never leave the roots sitting in water. Container plants may need more frequent watering during hot weather and less during cooler periods.

🌱 Soil Requirements

Use a well-draining citrus potting mix that retains some moisture without becoming waterlogged. Slightly acidic soil, around pH 5.5–6.5, is generally suitable. Ensure the container has drainage holes.

🌡️ Temperature

Ponderosa Lemon prefers warm conditions and protection from frost. Protect the plant from cold temperatures and sudden temperature changes. If growing in a container, move it to a sheltered location when conditions become too cold for citrus.

🌼 Flowers, Pollination & Fruit

Ponderosa Lemon produces fragrant white flowers and can develop very large lemons when mature and grown under favorable conditions. Citrus trees are generally self-fertile, so a single tree can produce fruit when properly established. Indoor plants may benefit from gentle hand pollination when pollinators are absent.

Because this plant is grafted, it may reach fruiting maturity sooner than a seed-grown tree, but fruiting is not guaranteed by a particular date. Light, temperature, plant maturity, and care all influence flowering and fruit production.

✂️ Container Care

A half-gallon plant will need time to establish before being moved into a larger container. Repot gradually as the roots grow, and use a pot with adequate drainage. Feed during active growth with a citrus fertilizer according to its label.
