This 480-seed pack of Oregon Holly Grape (Mahonia aquifolium) is perfect for large plantings, naturalizing, woodland restoration, or hedge projects. A hardy, evergreen native shrub, it offers year-round beauty and edible berries.
In spring (April–May), clusters of mildly fragrant yellow flowers bloom against glossy, holly-like foliage. By late summer, grape-like clusters of blue-black berries develop, covered in a soft white bloom. The berries are edible (great for jams or wine) and highly attractive to birds and wildlife.
Foliage emerges reddish-bronze, matures to deep green, and often turns burgundy or purple-bronze in fall and winter. This slow-growing shrub typically reaches 3–6 feet tall and spreads 2–5 feet wide, forming colonies over time through suckers. Ideal for woodland gardens, shady borders, naturalized areas, and low-maintenance hedges.
