Grow your own Oregon Holly Grape (Mahonia aquifolium) with this 240-seed pack of a hardy, evergreen shrub valued for its bright spring blooms, edible berries, and year-round ornamental foliage.

Native to the Pacific Northwest, this slow-growing shrub typically reaches 3–6 feet tall with a spreading to upright habit. In spring (April–May), clusters of mildly fragrant yellow flowers bloom in striking contrast against glossy, holly-like leaves. By late summer, blue-black berries develop in grape-like clusters. The berries are edible and perfect for jams or wine, while also serving as an important food source for birds and wildlife.

Foliage emerges reddish-bronze, matures to deep green, and often turns burgundy to purple-bronze in fall and winter, offering multi-season color. Ideal for woodland gardens, shaded borders, foundation plantings, loose hedges, and naturalized landscapes.
