Norway Spruce is one of the fastest-growing and most dependable evergreen trees available. With its classic pyramidal shape and gracefully drooping branchlets, this hardy conifer produces dense, dark green needles that provide year-round beauty and coverage.

In cultivation, Norway Spruce typically grows 40–60 feet tall, but under ideal conditions can exceed 100 feet. It is extremely cold hardy and more tolerant of heat and humidity than many other spruce species. Its adaptability and rapid growth make it ideal for windbreaks, shelterbelts, privacy screens, reforestation projects, and Christmas tree farms.

When planted in rows or groupings, Norway Spruce forms a dense screen that provides excellent wind and snow protection.

🌿 Wildlife Value:
Provides critical winter cover for deer and small game such as grouse and hare. Songbirds, hawks, and owls use it for nesting and roosting, making it an excellent addition to wildlife-friendly properties.
