Norway Spruce is one of the most reliable and fastest-growing evergreen trees you can plant. Known for its classic pyramidal shape and gracefully drooping branchlets, this hardy conifer forms a dense canopy of rich, dark green needles that provide year-round coverage and beauty.

In cultivation, Norway Spruce typically grows 40–60 feet tall, and under ideal conditions can exceed 100 feet. It is extremely cold hardy and more tolerant of heat and humidity than many other spruce species. Its adaptability makes it ideal for large landscapes, windbreaks, privacy screens, specimen plantings, and Christmas tree production.

When planted in rows or groups, it forms an effective shelterbelt that provides year-round protection from wind and snow.

🌿 Wildlife Value:
Norway Spruce offers excellent winter shelter for deer and small game such as grouse and hare. Songbirds and birds of prey use it for roosting and nesting, making it an excellent choice for wildlife-friendly properties.
