Norway Spruce is one of the most popular and fastest-growing evergreen trees available. Known for its strong pyramidal shape and gracefully drooping secondary branches, this hardy conifer develops dense, dark green needles that provide year-round beauty and coverage.

In cultivation, it typically grows 40–60 feet tall, but in ideal conditions can exceed 100 feet. It is extremely cold hardy and more tolerant of heat and humidity than many other spruce species. Its adaptability and rapid growth make it an excellent choice for windbreaks, privacy screens, specimen plantings, and Christmas tree farms.

When planted in groups, Norway Spruce forms an effective shelterbelt, providing year-round screening and protection from wind.

🌿 Wildlife Value:
Provides critical winter shelter for deer and small game such as grouse and hare. Songbirds and raptors frequently roost and nest in its dense branches, making it a valuable tree for wildlife-friendly landscapes.
