Plant a productive backyard orchard with this set of 2 Moonglow Pear Trees, each approximately 2–3 feet tall and shipped bare root from our licensed nursery in Southern Indiana.
Moonglow is a European pear variety known for its vigorous growth, dependable harvests, and resistance to Fire Blight. In early spring (April–May), the tree produces clusters of fragrant creamy-white blossoms, followed by medium to large Bartlett-shaped fruit.
The pears ripen in early to mid-August, about one week before Bartlett. The fruit features smooth yellow skin with a red blush and soft, moderately juicy white flesh with very little grit. Perfect for fresh eating and home orchards.
🍐 Important: Moonglow is not self-pollinating. A Bartlett pear tree is a recommended pollinator for best fruit production.
🌿 Trees are shipped dormant (seasonally) and bare root with roots carefully wrapped in moist paper and sealed to maintain moisture.
