Grow delicious mulberries even in small spaces with the Mojo Berry Dwarf Mulberry (Morus rotundiloba). This compact fruit tree arrives as a 4–8 inch tissue culture starter plant/plug with the root ball wrapped to retain moisture during shipping.
Mojo Berry is a rare dwarf mulberry developed in Japan by breeder Hajime Matsunaga, the result of decades of breeding to create a compact mulberry that produces abundant sweet fruit on both new and old wood. This unique feature extends the harvest season from May through September, giving gardeners a long period of fresh berries.
Unlike traditional mulberry trees that grow very large, Mojo Berry stays compact at about 5–7 feet tall, making it perfect for containers, patios, balconies, or small backyard gardens. The fruit resembles blackberries and is sweet, juicy, and nutritious, great for fresh eating, drying, desserts, or preserves.
This award-winning plant received the Royal Horticultural Society’s Plant of the Year in 2017, making it a standout edible fruit plant for home gardeners.
