Grow your own iconic tropical skyline with 120 Mexican Fan Palm (Washingtonia robusta) seeds. This fast-growing evergreen palm is famous for its tall, slender trunk and dramatic fan-shaped fronds that create a bold boulevard or resort-style look. Native to the desert mountain valleys of Sonora and Baja Mexico, it thrives in warm, sunny climates and is widely planted in California, Arizona, Florida, and other subtropical regions.

Mexican Fan Palm can reach 50–100 feet tall with a narrow gray trunk ringed by leaf scars. Large glossy green palmate leaves grow up to 5 feet long with gracefully drooping tips. As older fronds dry, they often form the signature “petticoat” or “hula skirt” effect beneath the crown.

In early summer, long flower stalks extend beyond the fronds, producing clusters of small creamy-white blooms followed by pea-sized black fruits with sweet pulp. Once established, this palm is highly tolerant of heat, drought, and salt, making it ideal for coastal and desert environments. Young palms can also be grown in containers before transplanting to larger open spaces. You will receive seeds similar in quality and viability to those shown in the listing photos.
