Eucalyptus viminalis, also known as Manna Gum, is a desirable timber species native to cooler areas of Australia. Its pale pink to pinkish brown timber is easy to work with, making it attractive for furniture applications. While it has low strength and durability, it is still used in house framing and has other uses such as producing manna and being used for shields and wooden bowls by Indigenous Australians.
Scarification: Soak in water, let stand in water for 24 hours
Stratification: cold stratify for 30 days
