Lowbush Blueberry (Vaccinium angustifolium) is a hardy native shrub prized for its sweet edible berries, charming spring flowers, and vibrant reddish-bronze fall foliage. Native to Northeastern North America, this compact deciduous shrub grows just 6 to 24 inches tall, making it perfect for edible landscapes, woodland gardens, native plantings, and low-growing shrub borders.

In May, clusters of delicate, waxy, bell-shaped white to pale pink flowers bloom alongside fresh green leaves. By summer, blue-black berries up to 1/2 inch ripen and attract birds and wildlife. As autumn arrives, foliage transforms into brilliant shades of red and bronze, while reddish stems add subtle winter interest.

This 400-seed pack is ideal for establishing larger edible patches, groundcover plantings, conservation projects, or nursery propagation.

You will receive:
✔️ 400 Vaccinium angustifolium seeds

🫐 Fruit & Pollination Note:
Although self-fertile, cross-pollination improves berry size and overall yield. Birds love the fruit, so netting may be needed during ripening.

💡 Care Tip:
Soak seeds for 24 hours. Cold stratify for 60 days at 40°F in a moist (not wet) medium. Surface sow indoors under grow lights — seeds require light for germination. Use a humidity dome and mist regularly to maintain moisture.
