Lowbush Blueberry (Vaccinium angustifolium) is a hardy native shrub valued for its sweet edible berries, delicate spring blooms, and rich reddish-bronze fall foliage. Native to Northeastern North America, this compact deciduous shrub grows just 6 to 24 inches tall, making it perfect for edible landscapes, woodland gardens, shrub borders, and naturalized plantings.
In May, clusters of small, waxy, bell-shaped white to pale pink flowers appear among fresh green foliage. By summer, blue-black berries up to 1/2 inch ripen and attract birds and wildlife. As temperatures cool, foliage turns vibrant shades of red and bronze, while reddish stems add subtle winter interest.
This 200-seed pack is ideal for establishing larger berry patches, native groundcover plantings, habitat restoration, or edible landscape projects.

Soak seeds for 24 hours. Cold stratify for 60 days at 40°F in a moist (not wet) medium. Surface sow indoors under grow lights — seeds require light for germination. Use a humidity dome and mist regularly to maintain moisture.
