🌼 Growing Information

The Little Cado Avocado Tree (Persea americana) is an evergreen fruit tree well suited for container and in-ground planting. It thrives in full sun with at least 6–8 hours of direct sunlight daily and prefers well-draining, loose soil with a slightly acidic pH between 6 and 7. Water moderately, allowing the topsoil to dry slightly between watering to prevent root issues. This variety responds well to pruning, making it easy to maintain a compact shape. In areas where temperatures drop below 25°F, winter protection or indoor relocation is recommended. Fruits typically mature 9–12 months after flowering and ripen off the tree after harvest.
