This rainforest tree from eastern Australia features pink, petal-free flowers that bloom from November to February and can grow up to 30 meters tall. It is commonly used as an ornamental tree and its wood has historical significance as shields for Indigenous Australians, while its roasted seeds are edible for humans.
Scarification: Pour boiling water over seed , let stand in water for 24 hours, repeat process on seed that did not imbibe
