Establish a powerful tropical canopy with this bulk offering of 960 Kapok (Ceiba pentandra) seeds. Known as the Silk Cotton Tree, Kapok is one of the most dramatic and fastest-growing rainforest trees in the world.

In ideal tropical climates, Kapok can reach 150–200 feet tall, sometimes growing over 10 feet per year in early stages. Young trees develop distinctive protective spines along the trunk, while mature specimens form massive buttressed roots that provide exceptional stability during storms and seasonal drought.

Creamy white to pale pink flowers bloom before the leaves emerge and are pollinated by bats. Large woody seed pods later split open to reveal silky, cotton-like fiber surrounding the seeds. This buoyant fiber has traditionally been used in pillows, flotation devices, and padding.

This large seed quantity is ideal for reforestation, tropical restoration projects, conservation efforts, wildlife habitat development, and large-scale landscape planting.
