Grow a majestic northern evergreen with 150 Jezo Spruce (Picea jezoensis) seeds. Native to northeastern Asia, this impressive conifer can reach 75–150 feet tall in its natural habitat and is admired for its very dark green needles with striking silvery-white undersides. When the wind moves through the branches, the contrast creates a beautiful shimmering effect.

Jezo Spruce forms a classic pyramidal shape, making it an excellent specimen tree, wind-tolerant landscape tree, or traditional Christmas tree. Its short, dense needles also make it highly desirable for bonsai cultivation. In spring, small male and female cones appear on the same tree, maturing into 2–3½ inch cones by early fall. The grayish-brown bark becomes fissured and exfoliates attractively as the tree matures.

This fast-growing evergreen thrives in cool climates with moist, well-drained soil. It tolerates strong winds but does not tolerate shade or heavy pollution. Ideal for USDA Zones 2–7.
