Grow one of the most unique fruit trees in the world with this Jaboticaba (Myrciaria cauliflora), approximately 1 to 2 feet tall and shipped in a 3-gallon nursery pot. This live plant is well-rooted and fresh from our garden, ready to thrive in warm climates.

Jaboticaba is famous for producing purple-black, plum-sized fruits that grow directly on the trunk and main branches of the tree—a rare botanical trait called cauliflory. The fruits resemble grapes in appearance and have a sweet flavor with a pleasant sub-acid tang.

The flesh is juicy and aromatic, with flavor notes that evolve as the fruit ripens—often compared to grape, guava, mangosteen, lychee, passion fruit, and sweetsop. When fully ripe, the fruit is exceptionally sweet and fragrant. The slightly thicker skin helps with handling and short-term storage.

This slow-growing but highly rewarding tree is a prized addition to rare fruit collections and tropical backyard orchards.
