The Halberdleaf Hibiscus, also known as Hibiscus laevis, is a native flower that can be a showy addition to any garden. It has large, creamy-white or pink flowers that can reach up to 6 inches across and grows on unbranched, hairless stems that can reach 6 feet tall. This perennial flower prefers full or partial sun and moist conditions, and can often be found near bodies of water like streams, ponds, and lakes.
Scarification: Soak in water, let stand in water for 24 hours
Stratification: cold stratify for 90 days
Germination: sow seed 1/4" deep, tamp the soil, keep moist, mulch the seed bed
