Grow one of the most massive and majestic trees in the world — the Giant Sequoia (Sequoiadendron giganteum). Native to the western slopes of California’s Sierra Nevada Mountains, this legendary evergreen conifer is famed for its enormous trunk size, towering height, and incredible lifespan of up to 3,000 years.

In its native habitat, mature trees commonly reach 200–280 feet tall with trunk diameters between 15–24 feet. Young trees have a beautiful pyramidal-oval shape that matures into a broad, columnar giant. The thick, cinnamon-brown bark is deeply furrowed and may grow 1–2 feet thick, helping protect the tree from fire and environmental extremes.

Dense blue-green, scale-like needles remain attractive year-round. Woody cones (1½–3 inches long) mature over 18–20 months and may remain closed for years. Giant Sequoias are highly valued as specimen trees for estates, parks, and large landscapes. Young trees are also popular for bonsai cultivation and educational plantings.

This 120-seed pack is ideal for larger landscape projects, nursery propagation, reforestation efforts, or growers looking to cultivate multiple seedlings of this historic and awe-inspiring evergreen.
