Abies forrestii var. georgei, also known as George's fir, is a small to medium-sized tree native to western China. It has smooth, gray-brown bark that becomes darker and more fissured with age. The tree has dark green needles arranged in two rows on the shoot, and purple cones that are borne upright on the branches.
Scarification: Soak in water, let stand in water for 24 hours
Stratification: cold stratify for 30 days
