Grow your own European Crab Apple (Malus sylvestris) with this 60-seed pack, perfect for orchard planting, homesteads, food forests, or landscaping projects.

Also known as French Crabapple or European Wild Apple, this small deciduous fruiting tree is believed to be one of the ancestors of the modern apple. In spring (April–May), it produces beautiful pinkish-white fragrant flowers that attract pollinators. These blossoms are followed by small, tart fruits that ripen from green to yellow with orange-red blush.

The fruit is excellent for jams, jellies, cider, juice, and vinegar. Birds and wildlife also enjoy the fruit, making this an excellent tree for naturalized landscapes and wildlife gardens.

Fast-growing and adaptable, Malus sylvestris thrives in Zones 5–9 and can be trained for espalier, pruned into hedges, or grown as bonsai. It provides multi-season interest with spring flowers, summer foliage, edible fall fruit, and yellow autumn color.

You will receive seeds similar in quality and viability to those shown in the listing photos.

You will receive:
✔️ 60 European Crab Apple seeds
✔️ Clearly labeled seed packet
✔️ Sowing instructions included
