Grow your own Cornelian Cherry Dogwood from seed with this pack of 240 high-quality seeds. This hardy, multi-stemmed deciduous shrub or small tree is prized for its brilliant early spring flowers, edible red fruits, and attractive exfoliating bark.

In late winter to early spring, clusters of tiny yellow star-like flowers bloom before the leaves emerge, creating a bright display similar to Forsythia. By late summer, elongated bright red fruits ripen. The fruits are edible and often used in syrups, jams, and preserves. Birds are also attracted to the fruit, making this an excellent wildlife-friendly planting.

With its rounded to oval form and moderate growth rate, Cornelian Cherry Dogwood works beautifully as a hedge, windbreak, specimen tree, woodland planting, or even for bonsai training. Mature plants develop gray-brown exfoliating bark, adding ornamental value year-round.
