Colorado Blue Spruce is a highly sought-after evergreen known for its brilliant silver-blue needles and classic pyramidal form. Native to the central Rocky Mountains, this cold-hardy conifer thrives in cooler climates and is widely planted as a specimen tree, windbreak, hedge, privacy screen, or Christmas tree.

In cultivation, it typically grows 30–60 feet tall, with strong horizontal branching that often extends to the ground. In natural forest settings, it may reach 80–100 feet. The stiff, sharp, four-angled needles range from green to blue-green to striking silvery-blue, radiating outward from the twigs for a dense, symmetrical appearance.

Light brown cylindrical cones (2–4 inches long) mature in fall. Mature bark becomes gray to reddish-brown with shallow furrows. Once established, Colorado Blue Spruce is tolerant of cold, wind, and moderate drought, making it excellent for shelterbelts and large-scale landscape projects.

This 800-seed wholesale pack is ideal for nurseries, landscaping companies, reforestation efforts, windbreak installations, and large property plantings.
