The Colorado Blue Spruce is one of the most popular and recognizable evergreen trees, valued for its striking silver-blue needles and classic pyramidal shape. Native to the central Rocky Mountains, this hardy conifer thrives in cold climates and is widely planted as a specimen tree, windbreak, hedge, privacy screen, or Christmas tree.

In cultivation, it typically grows 30–60 feet tall, with dense horizontal branching extending to the ground. In its natural range, it may reach 80–100 feet. The stiff, sharp, four-sided needles range from green to blue-green to brilliant silver-blue and radiate outward from the twigs, giving the tree a full, textured appearance.

Light brown cylindrical cones (2–4 inches long) mature in fall. Mature bark develops shallow furrows and a gray to reddish-brown color. Once established, Colorado Blue Spruce is tolerant of cold, wind, and moderate drought.

This 200-seed bulk pack is ideal for windbreak projects, mass plantings, nursery propagation, landscaping businesses, or serious growers.
