The Fritillaria camschatcensis, also known as Kamchatka fritillary or Kamchatka lily, is a unique plant native to northeastern Asia and northwestern North America. It is known for its striking brown color, earning it the nickname "chocolate lily", but also for its unpleasant smell, leading to other names such as skunk lily and dirty diaper. Despite its smell, the plant is valued for its starchy bulbs, which are consumed by wild animals and indigenous peoples.
