The Chinese Corkbark Elm, also known as the Chinese Elm or Lacebark Elm, is a tough and attractive tree that can thrive in any soil and pH level. It is highly resistant to Dutch elm disease and unaffected by the Elm Leaf Beetle. This tree has mottled grey and red bark, dark green and shiny leaves that turn yellowish to reddish purple in the fall, and it is commonly used in bonsai and for furniture, cabins, and hardwood flooring.
