Grow one of the most distinctive jujube varieties with this 4 foot tall Chico Jujube tree, shipped in a 3 gallon nursery pot. This established tree features a thicker trunk and strong root system, giving you a healthy head start toward fruit production.

Developed at the USDA Plant Introduction Station in Chico, California, this highly regarded cultivar is known for its unique “apple-like” qualities and exceptional fresh-eating flavor.

Unlike typical oval jujubes, Chico fruits are round and flattened on the bottom, resembling a miniature green apple or small pumpkin. The flavor offers a balanced sweet-tart profile with a crisp, light texture that makes it one of the best varieties for fresh eating.

Fruits are ready to harvest when they turn from green to about 80% reddish-brown. They also dry beautifully, developing a chewy, date-like consistency.

You will receive a plant similar in size and health to the one shown in the listing photos.

You will receive:

✔️ Height: approximately 4 feet tall
