Grow your own exotic tropical fruit with this grafted ‘Cheena’ Jackfruit Tree, standing approximately 2–3 feet tall and shipped in a 3-gallon pot, well-rooted and ready to thrive.

‘Cheena’ is a natural hybrid between jackfruit and champedak, known for its improved flavor, manageable growth habit, and reliable fruit production. Unlike standard jackfruit trees that grow extremely large, this variety has an open, low, spreading structure and can be maintained at approximately 8–12 feet with annual pruning.

Jackfruit is the largest fruit that grows on a tree. While record fruits have reached 275 lbs., most fruits typically range from 10–35 lbs. A mature ‘Cheena’ tree can consistently produce 110–154 lbs of fruit per year under proper care.

The ripe fruit offers a delicious tropical blend of mango, banana, pineapple, and cantaloupe flavors, often compared to juicy fruit gum. When harvested green, it can be cooked and used as a vegetable—boiled, grilled, roasted, fried, or added to savory dishes. The seeds are also edible when cooked.

You will receive a healthy grafted tree similar in size and condition to the one shown in the listing photos.
