Establish a large planting of Caper Bush (Capparis spinosa), the classic Mediterranean shrub prized for its edible caper buds and striking fragrant flowers. Naturally adapted to hot, dry, rocky environments, this low-growing, spreading shrub thrives in lean soils and full sun — perfect for xeriscapes, rock gardens, stone walls, coastal plantings, and commercial-style culinary gardens.
From late spring through early fall, Caper Bush produces small pinkish flower buds that are harvested and pickled as capers. If left to bloom, the buds open into showy pinkish-white flowers with long violet stamens and a sweet fragrance. Each bloom opens in the morning and closes by afternoon, creating a unique ornamental display.
This 480-seed bulk pack is ideal for larger landscape projects, edible garden installations, nursery growing, or dry-climate restoration plantings.
You will receive:
✔️ 480 Caper Bush seeds
✔️ Edible flower bud variety
✔️ Fragrant ornamental blooms
✔️ Clearly labeled seed packet
✔️ Sowing instructions included
