Grow your own Mediterranean delicacy with Caper Bush (Capparis spinosa), a beautiful and highly drought-tolerant shrub prized for its edible flower buds and stunning fragrant blooms. Native to the Mediterranean, this low, spreading plant thrives in hot, dry, rocky environments where other plants struggle.
From late spring through early fall, the plant produces small pinkish flower buds that are harvested and pickled as capers. If left unpicked, they open into striking pinkish-white flowers with long violet stamens and a light, sweet fragrance. The blooms open in the morning and close by afternoon, creating a unique ornamental display.
This 120-seed pack is ideal for larger plantings, xeriscape gardens, rock walls, coastal gardens, or culinary gardens focused on homegrown gourmet ingredients.
You will receive:
✔️ 120 Caper Bush seeds
✔️ Edible flower bud variety
✔️ Fragrant ornamental blooms
✔️ Clearly labeled seed packet
✔️ Sowing instructions included

💡 Care Tip:
Soak seeds for 24 hours. Cold stratify for 60–90 days at 40°F in a moist (not wet) medium. Sow 1/4 inch deep and keep lightly moist during germination. Excellent drainage is essential — overwatering can quickly damage plants.
