Add a productive and cold-hardy berry shrub to your garden with this Boreal Beast Honeyberry (Lonicera caerulea) 3-year live plant, gallon-grown and carefully pruned for safe shipping. Also known as haskap or blue honeysuckle, honeyberries produce elongated deep-blue berries with a delicious flavor often compared to a mix of blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, and subtle kiwi notes.

The Boreal Beast variety is known for strong growth, reliable fruit production, and excellent pollination compatibility, making it a popular companion plant for varieties such as Boreal Beauty and Boreal Blizzard. These hardy shrubs bloom early in spring and often produce fruit weeks before strawberries, providing one of the earliest berry harvests of the season.

These plants are currently dormant and will be shipped out of the pot with roots wrapped and protected with minimal planting medium for safe transportation. Each plant is gallon-grown and pruned to approximately 16–20 inches tall for shipping.

⚠️ Important: Honeyberries require two compatible varieties for cross-pollination and fruit production. Boreal Beast performs best when planted near another honeyberry variety that blooms at the same time.

You will receive:
✔️ 1 live Boreal Beast Honeyberry plant
✔️ 3-year-old established plant
✔️ Gallon-grown (shipped dormant, out of pot)
✔️ Pruned to approximately 16–20 inches tall
✔️ Healthy rooted plant with secure packaging
