Grow one of the most unique ornamental shrubs available with Blue Sausage Fruit (Decaisnea fargesii), also known as Dead Man’s Fingers. This fast-growing, multi-stemmed deciduous shrub is prized for its extraordinary metallic blue, bean-like fruit pods that appear in fall.

Native from the Himalayas to western China, this striking shrub reaches 12–20 feet tall and wide. In late spring, it produces drooping clusters of yellow-green flowers, followed by long cylindrical blue pods up to 6 inches in length. When mature, the pods split open to reveal sweet edible pulp surrounding the seeds. The fruit is unusual, decorative, and excellent for wildlife gardens—or even Halloween displays.

With bold tropical-looking foliage up to 3 feet long and bright yellow fall color, this plant creates dramatic seasonal interest in woodland gardens and shrub borders.

You will receive:
✔️ 5 Blue Sausage Fruit seeds
✔️ Hardy ornamental shrub variety
✔️ Showy metallic blue edible fruit
✔️ Clearly labeled seed packet
✔️ Sowing instructions included
