Grow a reliable, high-producing avocado variety with this grafted Beta Avocado Tree, a well-known Type B flowering avocado prized for its consistent yields, large fruit size, and excellent flavor. Beta is considered a true workhorse variety and is popular with both home growers and commercial producers.

This tree is professionally grafted (not seed-grown) and shipped in soil in a 1-gallon nursery pot, sealed to maintain hydration during transit. Grafting ensures earlier fruiting, predictable fruit quality, and vigorous growth compared to seed-grown trees.

Beta avocados have a creamy, buttery texture with a mild, nutty flavor, making them excellent for guacamole, salads, and fresh eating. Fruits are large, often weighing 1–1.5 lbs, with a favorable flesh-to-seed ratio.

🌼 Growing Information

The Beta Avocado Tree thrives in full sun (6–8 hours daily) and requires fertile, well-draining soil. Water regularly during establishment, adjusting based on weather and soil conditions. Avoid waterlogging, especially in containers.

This variety performs best in USDA Zones 9–11. Young trees are sensitive to cold and should be protected when temperatures fall below 50°F. Once established, the tree becomes more resilient and low-maintenance.

🌱 Transplanting & Care Notes (Important)

  • Do not disturb the root ball during transplant

  • Allow the tree 48 hours in partial shade after arrival before full sun

  • For best results, transplant into a 3–5 gallon pot and grow until the tree reaches 4–6 ft tall before planting in-ground

  • If transplanting, keep the root ball intact to avoid shock
