Grow a dependable, high-yield avocado tree with this live grafted Beta Avocado Tree, a well-known Florida-grown variety believed to be a Guatemalan × West Indian hybrid. Grafting ensures earlier fruiting, consistent quality, and strong, vigorous growth, making this tree a favorite among home gardeners and commercial growers alike.

The Beta avocado is considered a true workhorse variety, producing abundant crops of large, creamy fruit year after year. Fruits are known for their mild, nutty flavor, smooth buttery texture, and excellent seed-to-flesh ratio, making them ideal for guacamole, salads, and fresh eating.

This is a Type B flowering avocado, meaning male flowers open in the morning and female flowers open in the afternoon. For best fruit production, planting near a Type A avocado such as Florida Hass, Bacon, or Hall is strongly recommended.

Your tree ships healthy and grafted in a 1-gallon nursery pot, sealed to maintain hydration during shipping.

🌼 Growing Information

The Beta Avocado Tree thrives in tropical to subtropical climates and performs best in full sun, requiring 6–8 hours of direct sunlight daily. It prefers fertile, well-draining soil with a slightly acidic pH. Regular watering is important during establishment, while mature trees require minimal irrigation except during prolonged dry periods. Beta is considered moderately cold tolerant, capable of withstanding short drops to 25°F, though sustained cold may impact flowering and fruit production. With proper care, the tree can reach up to 25 feet tall and produce consistently heavy crops.
