**Begonia Luxurians Live Plant, 1–2 Ft Tall, 6 Inch Pot, Tropical Palmate Foliage, Rare Ornamental Begonia, Patio Houseplant**

Add a dramatic tropical statement to your plant collection with Begonia luxurians, a highly sought-after ornamental species prized for its extraordinary foliage. Its deeply divided, palmate leaves create an impressive, almost architectural display, giving this begonia a lush, exotic appearance.

This striking plant is especially beautiful in a narrow garden space, on a porch, or against a contrasting wall or bamboo fence. It can also be grown as a patio plant, houseplant, or indoor-outdoor specimen.

Begonia Luxurians Features

• Plant height: Approximately 1–2 feet tall

• Shipping size: 6-inch nursery pot

• Mature leaf size: Leaves can exceed 16 inches across

• Mature growth: Can reach 6–8 feet or more from mature rhizomes under suitable conditions

• Flowers: Dense clusters of yellow and white flowers in summer

• Growth habit: Upright, tropical-looking ornamental plant

Growing Conditions

Begonia luxurians grows best in warm conditions with partial shade. Provide rich, moist soil and water regularly to maintain consistent moisture.

It is particularly well suited to locations with morning sunlight and afternoon shade. Try placing it near a porch entrance or against a dramatic background to showcase its distinctive foliage.

Seasonal Dormancy

This begonia is more cold-tolerant than many gardeners expect. In cooler conditions, it may become dormant during fall and winter, retreating to a large rhizome before resuming growth when conditions improve.

Although it can tolerate cool, wet soil better than many begonias, its rhizome is not safe from freezing soil. Protect it from freezing temperatures.
