Grow your own delicious avocados with this live Avocado Tree in a 3-gallon pot, selected as Grower’s Choice based on season, plant health, and overall beauty. Each tree is a true avocado variety, carefully grown and chosen to ensure strong performance and visual appeal.

The avocados produced by these trees are known for their glossy, amber to nearly black skin, thin peel, and rich, nutty, creamy flesh. Fruit size typically ranges from 4–8 ounces, with ripening occurring from August through November. Like most commercial avocados, fruit matures on the tree and ripens after harvest.

Avocado trees are widely cultivated in tropical and Mediterranean climates and are valued both for their fruit and their attractive evergreen foliage. While varieties vary, all selections are commercial-quality avocado types, often propagated by grafting to ensure reliable fruit quality and production.

🌼 Growing Information

Avocado trees thrive in full sun, performing best with 8 or more hours of direct sunlight daily. They prefer well-draining, rich, loamy soil with a slightly acidic to neutral pH between 5.0 and 7.0. Deep, infrequent watering encourages strong root development—allow the soil to dry slightly between waterings, especially once established. During hotter months, additional watering may be needed. Avocados grow best in temperatures between 50–85°F and are hardy to approximately 18°F for short periods. Proper drainage, sun protection when young, and correct irrigation are critical during the first two years for long-term success. Trees can reach up to 30 feet tall, though regular pruning keeps them smaller and more manageable.
